Philosophizing. Organizing. Designing.

About

I am currently the Program Manager for NYU's American Journalism Online. Prior, I worked in admissions for five years at Tisch Special Programs, as an Administrative Aide and Assistant Director. Before joining NYU, I worked in the film industry, at Firelight Media as a Documentary Lab Coordinator and making my rounds at various film festivals, freelancing between IFP Film Week, Tribeca Film Festival, and DOC NYC. I hold a Bachelor's from Hunter College and a Master's from Columbia University, both in Film and Media Studies. I published academic pieces on Iranian Cinema that can be found in Jump Cut and CineAction and discussed my work on panels and conferences. I am in the process of pursuing another Master’s Degree at NYU Steinhardt in Learning Technology and Experience Design where I'm expanding my technical skills in user experience design, graphic design, learning analytics, and more, for educational technology.
